United have huge Koulibaly bid ‘rejected’21 May 2019
Manchester United have reportedly had a bid rejected by Napoli for Mali defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The centre back has been on the radar of the biggest clubs in Europe for some time and Manchester United look like the favourites to recruit the former Genk man.
The Red Devils seem certain to strengthen in defence after a season which saw them concede 54 goals, the 10th most in the Premier League, despite finshing in 6th place.
Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira claims the club have had a €110m (£96.4m) bid rejected by Napoli.
Schira also claims that Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis will only sell for his release clause, believed to be €150m and only valid from 2020.
