Romelu Lukaku fears a potential move away from Manchester could be scuppered due to the clubs price tag deterring potential suitors.
The former Everton forward has struggled to settle in Manchester since his move from Merseyside. The Belgian international made a reported £75m move to the club hoping to be the man to spearhead a new era in attack.
But despite a respectable goals return, the 26 year old has failed to win over fans and coaching staff. Some blame is demeanor, his link up play or his work ethic and it is expected he will move on to pastures new.
Inter Milan are heavily linked with a move for the striker but with United wanting to recoup a large portion of the fee they shelled out, the transfer seems unlikely.
The Serie A side look set to replace coach Luciano Spalletti with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. But it is still unknown whether the Milan club will be in the Champions League next season, which will be a determining factor in the funds available in the summer.
Manchester United ended this season trophyless and stuttered to a sixth placed finish in the Premier League. Lukaku managed 12 goals in 32 appearances in the Premier League, adding a further two goals in the Champions League.
